Hi there! My name is Adelyn. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with an Art Practice Degree in Fall 2015. During my time as an undergraduate, I was the lead facilitator for the course Artistic Development for Animation, which taught college students how to create visuals for their own unique stories. I also assisted 7 teachers with mixed medium classes for grades K-10 at the 2015 Summer Camp of Kala Art Institute in Berkeley and taught my own visual development course to 5th graders at Coronado Elementary School in Richmond.
Upon graduation, I moved to Kobe, Japan to teach English. Using my artistic background, I incorporated captivating visuals into my English lessons to retain the attention of my students in grades 1-9. After I fulfilled my teaching contract in Japan, I returned to the U.S. to teach at various art studios. I recently finished illustrating a comic very dear to my heart called Lady's Best Friend. Check out the English and Chinese versions under the "Illustration" tab!
